The 33 km walk starts at the Westerscheldijk in Hoofdplaat. The route leads through several dikes towards Oostburg, Zuidzande, Terhofstede, Retranchement, Oosthoek, and Knokke.
Participants can travel to Hoofdplaat in the morning with their own transport or take the bus. Buses depart at 7:30 and 8:30 AM from A. Verweeplein. In Hoofdplaat, you can start freely between 8 and 10 AM, and the arrival check-in in Knokke closes at 6 PM.
You can also take part in the mini-liberation march of 9, 14, and 19 km.
